Author jewelry from the Bahamas

SAMIRA COAST is author jewelry — designed and handcrafted by Samira Robertson Yamel in Freeport, Grand Bahama. Each piece is unique: real seashells and marine fossils from the shore, paired with vivid natural stones and Colombian 18k gold-filled for a lasting golden finish.

Since 1986, Samira has shaped gold and silver in Colombia. In the Bahamas she found a new language — beach-found materials merged with Colombian gold-filled and fine stones. The result is elegant, beautiful, and exclusive — never generic or mass-produced costume jewelry.

Materials are gathered on distant beaches (with love and miles of travel), while gold-filled and stones are sourced in Colombia with the help of Alejandro Campo. Isabel Henao captures the photography and video that tell each piece's story.
